David Meggitt

David Meggitt is a Chartered Civil Engineer, a Member of the Chartered Management Institute, and Alumnus of PA International Management Consultants (Project Planning Division) and Planning Research Corporation (PRC).

Although credited with the design of the most highly stressed motorway bridge of its type in the UK, his project experience is predominantly with stressed organisations. From installing project management and team creation in the former Greater London Council, to installing project controls to major joint venture contracts in Hong Kong; from reconciling differences between Ministries in French speaking Algeria, to identifying strategic information flows in preparing the Fourth National Plan for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In the internet era, he is acknowledged internationally as a practitioner and thought leader in the discipline that focuses on boosting value creation in networks. He is a business Partner with ValueNetworks.com, the leading provider of value network visualization and analysis applications, and colleague of its President, Verna Allee, expert and pioneer in value networks. As Business Planning Director with Blackstone Franks LLP, a City accountancy, tax and corporate finance firm, he contributes to their services for grooming businesses for maximum value and sale, and is director of a company that cultivates a value network for entrepreneurs.

David, a Yorkshireman, was educated at Leeds University, lives in Surrey and is married with two children educated at Scottish Universities (molecular/microbiology; product design engineering). Youthful military experience is limited to Joint Under Officer rank in 250 strong CCF in Hull, with sporting forays as a captain of athletics and shooting, with rugby prop forward and cricket credentials.

bird

"bird" symbolises the transformational journeys that societies experience as they move from one state to the next. For example, ancient tribal traditions in the Ecuador rain forests choose the Eagle to represent a largely material mindset whilst the Condor symbolises a more connected and spiritual one. The more recent Judao-Christian beliefs embrace the idea of human stewardship of the creation.

The Dove is taken here as representing a symbol of hope as we face up to the challenges now facing our globally connected world.

The choice is yours as you discover the appropriate pathway forward with the "meggitt bird" alliance of specialists to aid you on your journey at whatever stage you feel you are at.
